Meet Dr. Sherdon W. Cordova Lewiston, ID
Dr. Sherdon Cordova hails from Eagar, Arizona, a small town on the New Mexico border.
In his high school years, he attended 6 high schools in 3 states including part of his sophomore year at Lewiston High School. His time in Lewiston left an impression on him, and with family in the area, he returned to settle permanently in the region.
After high school he served a 2 year mission in Nicaragua and retains a tight connection with Central America. He graduated from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, majoring in Molecular Biology and Genetics with an Animal Science emphasis. From Utah, he went to the University of Minnesota earning a dental degree, then to Urbana, Illinois completing a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Carle Foundation Hospital/Clinics and University of Illinois School of Medicine. After 4 years in residency he served active duty as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in the USAF, stationed at Sheppard AFB in Texas.
Dr. Cordova is married to "Wonder Woman" and they have 10 children who keep them active, learning, and involved in the community. He spends most of his time working on his property and home. For recreation he loves to mountain bike, backpack, snow ski, wake surf and just take a good run down the road. He feels so blessed to be able to live in a rural area and enjoy "small town" life while still privileged to practicing his advanced and unique specialty. |
